North Daviess R-III is seeking dependable substitute cooks to assist with preparing and serving school meals when regular staff are absent. You will follow menus, portion guidelines, and safety procedures while supporting a cooperative team in a school kitchen.

Responsibilities include cooking, serving, dishwashing, and keeping areas clean, organized, and compliant with dietary needs and district policies. Background checks and district requirements are required for employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
• Dependability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to safely perform essential kitchen duties, with reasonable accommodations as applicable.
• Complete required background checks and district employment requirements.
• Food service experience preferred but not required.
