ROCORI Public Schools is hiring a substitute cleaner or custodian. The schedule is flexible and can include days, evenings and weekend opportunities.

Reports to: Head Custodian
Department: Custodial
Works with: Teachers, students, parents
Job Summary: A Cleaner performs general cleaning to provide pleasant surroundings for staff and students.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Creates and limits access to assigned area.
• Cleans, sets up, and tears down assigned area.
• Floors - vacuums, sweeps, mops, and scrubs.
• Bathrooms - cleans as assigned.
• Cleans entire space as assigned.
• Empties garbage and recycling.
• Assists parents and other visitors to school buildings with special events and programs.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
