Sudbury Senior Citizens, Inc. is seeking an on-call substitute Circulation Department Assistant to provide exceptional customer service to patrons. The ideal candidate should be flexible with their schedule, detail-oriented, and possess strong customer service skills. A Bachelor's degree and experience in public libraries are preferred. The rate of pay starts at $23.28/hr. Shifts may include days, evenings, or weekends.

Job description

The Goodnow Library seeks an energetic on-call substitute Circulation Department Assistant to provide outstanding customer service to its patrons.

Ability and enthusiasm for multi‑tasking, and adapting to new technologies and services is a must. The ideal candidate will be available to cover shifts at a variety of days and times, be detail oriented, and have outstanding customer service skills. Recent or current experience in public libraries is preferred. A flexible schedule, knowledge of current popular literature, and experience with Microsoft Office are a must.

Shifts are irregular, and may include days, evenings or weekends. BA and one to three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. MLS students are strongly encouraged to apply. A CORI (criminal record) check will be required for the successful candidate. $23.28/hr. to start.
