Qualifications For Substitute Teachers:

• Bachelor degree in ECE preferred or
• Associate degree in ECE or
• Associate degree in related field with 35 hours of ECE credits
• Three (3) years ECE classroom teaching experience with children 2-5 years of age
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Meets all ECE Essential Functions
• Meet DCFS Background Check and Fingerprinting requirements

Qualifications For Substitute Assistant Teacher:

• 60 semester hours of college credit with 12 in ECE and one semester (20 hours) experience or
• One year experience with young children, 30 hours of college credit with 12 in ECE or
• An ECE credential recognized by DCFS and NAEYC
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Meets all ECE Essential Functions
• Meet DCFS Background Check and Fingerprinting requirements

Additional Information:

Salary: $21.59 to $26.89 per hour

Note: This is a temporary position limited to 500 work hours. Duration and schedule are subject to change based on needs.
