Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools is seeking Substitute Bus Drivers to join our Transportation Team in Vancouver, WA. The role requires a Class B CDL with endorsements and offers paid training (classroom and behind‑the‑wheel) at $20/hr during training. Reimbursement items are provided after 90 days worked, and SEBB benefits may become available after sufficient hours.

Position follows on‑call home‑to‑school routes, with shifts starting as early as 6:00 a.m. and possibly extending to 11:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to obtain a Washington State CDL with passenger and school bus.
• Must possess a valid First Aid/CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students on regular routes, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
• Inspect and maintain bus cleanliness and safety equipment; perform basic roadside services as needed.
• Ensure student safety and control while transporting.
