You will work with licensed teachers, families, and staff, helping students practice self-control, social skills, and basic reading, writing, and math, while maintaining a safe, supportive classroom.

Qualifications

• Education: Two years of college or a Paraeducator Certificate.
• Experience: Working with children needing social, emotional, or behavioral support.
• Skills: Clear communication, patience, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
• Safety: Must pass a background check; handles confidential student records.
• Physical Needs: Ability to move, walk, stand, bend, and supervise active elementary kids.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support students in practicing self-control, social skills, and coping strategies.
• Classroom teamwork: collaborate with licensed teachers, families, and staff to help every child succeed.
• Help with learning: assist one-on-one or in small groups with reading, writing, and math.
