Job summary

HOKALI is hiring an After School Enrichment Educator to supervise and engage students during after-school enrichment programming. The role emphasizes creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences in a dynamic environment across activities like Cooking, Dance, STEM, Martial Arts, Sports, Spanish, and Crafts.

The educator will plan and lead activities, assist with homework, and foster positive social interactions while ensuring student well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must complete 3 hours of online training prior to start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Elementary or Middle school students.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational activities.
• Assist students with homework and academic support as needed.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Organize and oversee snack time and outdoor play.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe.

This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during after-school enrichment programming. It's ideal for educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

Schedule & Compensation

The program runs until June 4 2027.

• Substitute Instructor: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (as needed) across various activities, including Cooking, Dance, STEM, Martial Arts, Sports, Spanish, and Crafts
  
  

Compensation: $30 / hour
