Job summary

HOKALI is seeking an After School Enrichment Educator to supervise and engage students during after-school programs. You will ensure safety, support learning, and lead fun activities in a dynamic environment.

The role emphasizes building positive student interactions, managing behavior, and contributing to prepared lesson plans while adapting to be effective in our program until June 4, 2027.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Elementary or Middle school students.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational activities.
• Assist students with homework and academic support as needed.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and teamwork.
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Organize and oversee snack time and outdoor play.

This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during after-school enrichment programming. It’s ideal for educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

Schedule & Compensation

The program runs until June 4 2027.

Monday through Friday, 2PM to 5.30 PM

Compensation: $30 / hour

In this role, you will:
