Job summary

Wythe County Public Schools in Wytheville, Virginia is seeking responsible substitutes for a variety of roles including teachers, paraprofessionals, cafeteria workers, clerical staff and custodians. The pay rates vary by role and education level: daily rates start at $112.50 for 2-year degree or less and rise to $125 for certified teachers; clerical $120, paraprofessional $105,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• You must be at least 18 years old to work at the elementary level and at least 21 for middle/high school levels.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.

Wythe County Public Schools is seeking responsible, flexible, and enthusiastic substitutes for the following positions: Teachers, paraprofessionals, cafeteria workers, clerical, and custodians.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• You must be at least 18 years old to be a substitute at the elementary level and must be at least 21 years old to work at the middle and high school levels
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred

Work Schedule:

• On-call, as needed
• Assignments may be for part-day, full-day, or multiple days

Pay Rates

Substitute Teacher
2 YR. degree or less $112.50/day
4 YR. degree $117.50/day

Certified Teacher $125.00/day

Clerical $120.00/day

Paraprofessional $105.00/day

Hourly Jobs
Cafeteria $15.00/hour
Custodian $15.00/hour
