Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. is seeking a Substation Wireman to maintain, repair, modify, and install electrical equipment for substations serving Electrical Utility Companies. You will support new construction, upgrades, and modifications in a safety-first environment.

The role requires extensive fieldwork in harsh conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ability to work with minimal supervision while following company standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have previous substation experience.
• Osha 10 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Have advanced knowledge of all substation work phases per power company standards and perform as directed by supervisor.
• Hook up and dress transformers, set poles and equipment, adjust switches, and pull/terminate control cables.
• Complete all required paperwork and job logs.
• Work with limited or no supervision.
• Troubleshoot power and control circuits.
• Work at heights or from a boom lift without issues.
• Understand and train hand signals for equipment operation.
