Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp, a leading electric utility, is seeking a Transmission and Substation Testing Coordinator. You will coordinate contracted testing and technical service interests for substation projects, in partnership with Utility Operations, Construction & Design Services, and Transmission & Substation Services.

You will help improve safety, ensure quality and adherence to standards, plan test schedules, allocate resources, and verify test reports are complete and uploaded to the record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or 3 years of utility/construction experience.
• Experience in electrical substation construction and/or maintenance.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing and technical service for substation projects.
• Oversee safety and reliability in partnership with operations and design services.
• Plan testing schedules and allocate field resources.
• Review tests and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
