HDR is a leader in power infrastructure, and this Substation Structural EIT/Coordinator role supports site studies, design, and project documentation. You will work with Senior Engineers on civil/site projects and manage small tasks.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in Structural Engineering, familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD, and are ready to obtain their EIT. HDR values an active, inclusive culture and meaningful collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD; experience with Bentley ConceptStation and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3D.
• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of Coordinator and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation
• Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
• Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
• Perform other duties as needed
