Qualifications

• Experience requirements: Engineer II — 2 years; Engineer III — 5 years; Principal Engineer — 10+ years (or MS/PhD equivalents).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update T&D Substation standard drawings, design methodology documents, engineering instructions, and equipment specifications.
• Research industry trends and assess new technologies.
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhanced methods.
• Develop RFPs and support the selection of engineering service providers for standards-related projects.
• Manage engineering contractors as required.
• Collaborate with project teams and review standard deviation requests.
• Provide SME on applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Travel occasionally.
