Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks a Substation Project Manager I for a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite in Warrendale, PA. You will lead turnkey substation projects, coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing, and maintain schedules and budgets while serving as the main customer contact.

The role emphasizes risk management, cost control, and strong communication across multi-disciplinary teams. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading turnkey project management efforts across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project plans with goals, staffing, scheduling and budgets.
• Coordinate site and subcontract work including civil and erection activities.
• Manage cross-functional activities across engineering, manufacturing and purchasing.
• Negotiate terms and ensure on-time delivery and scope alignment.
• Serve as primary customer contact and report project status to management.
• Control costs, forecast budgets and manage risks and contingencies.
• Lead kick-off meetings and maintain updated project schedules.
• Travel to customer and vendor sites as required and manage invoicing.
