Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to provide technical consultation and leadership for substation projects. This hybrid role is based in Warrendale, PA.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and lead multiple orders, coordinating with engineering teams, contractors, and customers to ensure performance and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in a project environment.
• Expertise in substation theory, application, subsystems, installation and testing.
• Proficient with MS Office, CAD and engineering analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement all engineering facets of substation projects.
• Provide engineering leadership and act as primary design contact for other groups.
• Lead significant design projects and coordinate with other groups/divisions.
• Prepare engineering time and manpower estimates for proposals and orders.
• Represent the company to customers, TMT and D personnel and technical societies.
