Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Substation Project Manager to lead multi-discipline teams delivering critical substation programs nationwide. Responsibilities include scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management across consulting, engineering, design-build, and EPC deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 10 years of related experience and holds PMP/CCM/DBIA certifications or will obtain them within 12 months. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• PM certifications (PMP/CCM/DBIA) within 12 months of hire.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline substation projects from concept through construction.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk for portfolio programs.
• Direct teams (physical, P&C, civil/structural) to on-time design packages.
• Mentor project teams and ensure adherence to standards.
• Serve as main client contact delivering high-value experiences.
