Mesa presently has an opportunity for a Substation Physical Designer. This role provides an excellent opportunity to excel with innovative ideas and creative problem solving. This unique position involves application of latest design software and techniques to develop state-of-the-art Power Substation design portfolios.
The successful candidate will work closely with design engineering as a valued member of the Substation Physical Design Team. In this role, the successful candidate will gain and apply knowledge of latest power substation technology and operational practices. This knowledge will be applied to develop physical design solutions for the construction of power substations. The Substation Designer will collaborate with Designers and Engineers through all phases of the design process to produce high-quality, constructible design packages for each scope of work. This individual will also contribute by advising and assisting less experienced personnel.
