Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in substation/utility design, with at least 2+ in protection and controls design.
• Previous management experience is preferred, but not required.
• Licensed professional engineer is highly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resources are optimally placed on projects.
• Improve project execution, work processes, and procedures.
• Supervise staff and coordinate design tasks.
• Perform technical oversight and coordinate checking/reviews.
• Develop and train engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Conduct group meetings to communicate objectives.
• Approve timesheets and authorize overtime.
