Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an experienced Substation CAD Designer/Engineer to support a transmission engineering team in delivering safe, cost-effective, and high-quality design and drafting projects. You will lead discipline work, manage schedules and budgets, and mentor junior staff on complex substation projects including battery energy storage and solar substations.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of CAD design experience.
• Proven AutoCAD and/or MicroStation skills.

• Create substation P&C design drawings per client standards.
• Read and interpret P&C designs for 500kV utility stations.
• Mentor junior designers and oversee work.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines and visit sites.
