Responsibilities include staff supervision, budget oversight, and cross-department collaboration, with emphasis on emergency readiness, safety programs, and continuous improvement in operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Strong knowledge of power systems and related policies.
• 7+ years of supervision/management in engineering or technical services.
• Proficient with personal computers and office software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department to plan/schedule safe installation, testing and maintenance of substations and related facilities.
• Oversee Construction Management, CSA, and E&W groups; manage repairs and remediations.
• Represent department on cross-department committees and initiatives.
• Develop, implement and enforce safety practices; drive strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage personnel actions, performance appraisals, and department budget; handle emergency calls.
