Job summary

Metric Geo seeks an experienced Technical Project Engineering Manager to lead the Power Delivery team on large substation and transmission projects. You will drive technical delivery and act as the primary technical liaison for IOU clients throughout the lifecycle.

Open to candidates across multiple locations; in-office for the first 90 days to support onboarding, with a 9/80 schedule after onboarding. PE preferred and a strong leadership background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• Experience delivering large transmission and substation projects for IOU clients.
• Strong background in Substation Physical Design and Protection & Control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of substation engineering projects for major IOU clients.
• Own project deliverables to meet safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams in Substation Physical Design and P&C.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate disciplines for seamless project execution and client outcomes.
• Support planning, reviews, risk management, and quality assurance throughout the lifecycle.
