Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc. in Edwardsville, IL is seeking an engineering intern to assist with Substation Engineering & Design projects.

The ideal candidate is a Junior or Senior Level Student at an Accredited University and working towards a BS in Engineering, or a Senior Level Student at a Technical College. The individual will be working with other engineers and designers to create electrical drawing deliverables for substation construction projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Engineering at an accredited university or senior at a technical college.
• Associates or better in Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating electrical drawing deliverables for substation construction projects.
• Work under the direction of project managers/senior engineers.
• Assist in preparation of detailed drawings of substation wiring and assemblies using CAD.
• Operate printers, plotters, and related peripherals.
