Mesa Associates, Inc. is seeking an engineering intern to assist with Substation Engineering & Design projects at its Edwardsville, IL office.

The intern will work with experienced engineers to create electrical drawing deliverables for substation construction. The role targets junior or senior university students pursuing a BS in Engineering (or senior technical college students) and offers a flexible schedule that starts part-time during the academic year and may transition to full-time

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Engineering at an accredited university.
• Senior level student at a technical college is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of project managers/senior engineers.
• Assist in the preparation of detail drawings of substation wiring, electrical components, and assemblies using CAD equipment.
• Operates peripheral equipment such as printers, plotters, etc.

Mesa Associates, Inc. is currently seeking an engineering intern to assist with Substation Engineering & Design projects for its Edwardsville, IL office. The ideal candidate will be a Junior or Senior Level Student at an Accredited University and working towards a BS in Engineering, or a Senior Level Student at a Technical College. The individual will be working with other experienced engineers and/or designers in creating electrical drawing deliverables for substation construction projects.

Additional Responsibilities Are

• Works under the direction of project managers/senior engineers.
• Assist in the preparation of detail drawings of substation wiring, electrical components, and assemblies using manual or Computer Aided Design (CAD) equipment.
• Operates peripheral equipment such as printers, plotters, etc.

Work Schedule

• We currently are accepting applications for part time interns during the school year and transitioning to full time during winter and summer breaks.
• Mesa is flexible on intern work schedules and will work to ensure that work doesn't not interfere with student's school schedule.
