Mesa Associates, Inc. is seeking an engineering intern to assist with Substation Engineering & Design projects at its Edwardsville, IL office.

The intern will work with experienced engineers to create electrical drawing deliverables for substation construction. The role targets junior or senior university students pursuing a BS in Engineering (or senior technical college students) and offers a flexible schedule that starts part-time during the academic year and may transition to full-time

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Engineering at an accredited university.
• Senior level student at a technical college is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of project managers/senior engineers.
• Assist in the preparation of detail drawings of substation wiring, electrical components, and assemblies using CAD equipment.
• Operates peripheral equipment such as printers, plotters, etc.
