Job summary

A recruitment firm is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Substation Engineer for a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will perform Protection & Control (P&C) and Physical design engineering for high-voltage substation projects. Responsibilities include conducting QA/QC reviews, collaborating with stakeholders, and overseeing project deliverables. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience are required, along with a preferred EIT or PE license for stamping drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in substation design required.
• Experience with HV substation projects preferred.

$90k - $150k Depending on Experience and Licensure

We are currently working with several clients seeking Mid-Level to Senior Substation Engineers to join their teams on a fully remote basis. This role involves supporting high-voltage substation projects with a focus on Protection & Control (P&C) and/or Physical Design.

Responsibilities

• Perform Protection & Control (P&C) and/or Physical design engineering for high-voltage substation projects
• Conduct QA/QC reviews and peer reviews of engineering design packages
• Collaborate with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Assist with or oversee project execution and engineering deliverables
• Stamp and seal engineering drawings when applicable (based on licensure and experience)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in substation design
• Experience with HV substation projects preferred
• EIT or PE license preferred (PE may be required for stamping drawings)
