Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting in Minneapolis seeks an experienced Substation Engineer to design high-voltage electrical substations and produce detailed layouts using AutoCAD.

You'll work with structural, civil, and protection/control teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with NESC/NEC/IEEE while supporting projects from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of substation design experience.
• Background in both greenfield and brownfield substation projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical and physical design work.
• Ability to manage a personal project load of five or fewer substation projects concurrently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in technical discussions and mentoring.
