Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class C California Driver's License by Day 1 of hire.
• Ability to work in all types of weather extremes.
• Ability to travel within PG&E service territory as needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and elevated areas.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches and holes as part of construction work.
• Load and unload equipment and materials and maintain site cleanliness.
• Perform construction tasks in powerhouses and switch yards.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools.
• Follow journeyman and supervisor directions.
• Read and comply with company standards and procedures.
• Work in a team environment and maintain safety standards.
