Job summary

Entergy seeks a Substation Design Supervisor to lead engineering design activities for projects within Substation Design. The role supervises staff who prepare estimates, scopes, technical drawings, construction specifications, material specs and requisitions, and completes as-built documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience leading engineering design teams for substations.
• PE license preferred and may affect seniority level.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for engineering design activities for substation projects.
• Supervise staff preparing estimates, scopes, drawings, specs, and requisitions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, budgets, and schedules are met.
• Coordinate with grids, distribution, and project development for design evaluations.
• Develop and maintain substation design standards.
