Job summary

Required: ABET‑accredited BS in Civil or Electrical Engineering, a PE license, 5+ years in substation design, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• PE license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of substations.
• Demonstrated experience in project management.
• Knowledge of NERC standards.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using design and project management software.
• Ability to relocate as per the relocation package.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of substations.
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project requirements and goals.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement design standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project progression.
• Oversee the preparation of design documents and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
