Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern in Engineering - P&C Design to develop electrical substation design drawings for a simulated utility project. You will modify existing drawings, apply customer standards, and produce drafting deliverables from marked-up PDFs to gain hands-on experience with real-world engineering processes.

Intern compensation is based on academic standing and expected graduation date.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in a related bachelor’s or master’s program (May–Aug 2027).
• Pursuing a degree related to the internship field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a complete set of electrical substation design drawings for a simulated utility project.
• Modify existing drawings and apply customer-specific standards.
• Create brownfield substation design updates from marked-up PDFs and drafting deliverables.
