Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Team in Berlin, CT. The role focuses on structural design and analysis of electrical substation foundations and support structures, collaborating with electrical engineers to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant systems.

You will participate in project scopes, provide cost estimates, and review vendor submittals while traveling to substations as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology; Civil Engineering preferred.
• MS Engineering or Civil Engineering Master’s degree preferred.
• FE and/or PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze foundations, oil containment, and site drainage for substations.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to ensure safe construction and operation.
• Review engineering drawings and vendor submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide field support and resolve design questions during construction.
