Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Design Technician to join our Power Delivery team in Woodstock, Georgia. The role focuses on generating site plans and construction drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting tools.

You'll design and produce sets of plans, maintain drawing databases, and ensure data accuracy while following Kimley-Horn's standards. This is an on-site, non-remote position supporting project teams across our Georgia offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley drafting tools preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Generate site plans and construction drawings using drafting software.
• Design and produce sets of plans and maintain drafting standards.
• Assist in maintaining drawing database.
• Perform routine data checks for accuracy.
• Adhere to Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
