Kimley-Horn is seeking a Design Technician to join our Building Structures team in Chamblee, Georgia. This is not a remote position, and you will contribute to drafting site plans and construction drawings on local projects.

You will use Revit and AutoCAD to produce plans, maintain drawing databases, and ensure data accuracy while aligning with Kimley-Horn's standards. This role emphasizes independence and teamwork in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Revit preferred.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter.
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Generate site plans and construction drawings using basic drafting software.
• Design and produce sets of plans; implement Revit/AutoCAD drafting standards.
• Assist in maintaining drawing database.
• Perform routine data accuracy checks.
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
