Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Substance Use Treatment Counselor at Horizons - Reno County to provide a range of medically necessary substance use treatments with a focus on quality assessment, timely documentation, and patient‑centered care.

The role supports individual, family, and group modalities and requires strong coordination with the care team. The position demands a Master’s degree in a related field and licensure with experience supervising clinicians and working

Formación

• Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Three to five years of experience working with diagnosing and treating the SPMI/SMI or SED populations.
• Experience supervising other clinicians for licensure after gaining clinical licensure.
• Three to five years of experience working with diverse client populations, including high-risk groups.

Responsabilidades

• Completes diagnostic assessments to determine treatment needs.
• Provides substance use treatment including individual, family, and group modalities.
• Implements LOC determinations and referrals for substance use treatment clients.
• Documents progress notes, treatment plans and coordination with other providers.
• Makes referrals to other services as medically necessary.
• Provides outpatient behavioral health treatment including in‑home therapy.
• Performs utilization review as requested.
