Merakey seeks a Drug and Alcohol Therapist for the Methadone Clinic in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with a pay rate of $27.34 per hour.

The role focuses on providing individual and group therapy to individuals in substance abuse services and requires strong clinical documentation and caseload management. Ideal candidates hold a Master's in a related field and are actively pursuing licensure or credentials (LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, etc.),

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling.
• Actively working towards a Professional License (i.e., LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist).
• Or actively working towards a credential through PCB (i.e., CAAC, CADC, CAADC, CCS) or be actively working toward licensure or certification.
• Licensure or certification will need to be achieved within two to three (2 - 3) years of hire, depending on requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy and group therapy to individuals receiving substance abuse services.
• Assess individuals and recommend appropriate services based on clinical need and stage of change.
• Manage a caseload with attention to treatment progress and engagement, plus maintain compliant clinical documentation.
• Maintain documentation that meets Merakey, county/SCA, DDAP and other regulatory requirements.
