Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Substance Use Prevention Coordinator to lead prevention and wellbeing initiatives across campus. You will develop, implement, and evaluate programs aligned with best practices in public health, with a focus on prevention, harm reduction, and student wellbeing.

In this role you will oversee naloxone access, collaborate with the PATH team, and guide graduate students and interns while aligning efforts with health equity and FERPA/privacy

Qualifications

• Master's in public health or related field by time of hire.
• Experience delivering prevention programs and evaluating outcomes.
• Knowledge of health equity and cultural competence in diverse populations.
• Experience navigating sensitive topics related to substance use.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-informed substance use prevention and wellbeing programs.
• Lead campus naloxone access and opioid overdose prevention efforts.
• Collaborate with PATH team to connect prevention and recovery support across campus.
• Supervise graduate assistants and interns and advise student organizations.
