Job summary

UNC-Chapel Hill PATH is seeking a Substance Use Prevention Coordinator to lead prevention, harm reduction, and wellbeing initiatives for students and the campus community.

You will develop, implement, and evaluate programs using national standards, working with diverse stakeholders and maintaining compliance with privacy regulations. Hybrid work may be available with campus-based duties requiring availability for events and outreach.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of prevention science and health education principles.
• Passion for holistic wellness and student engagement.
• Understanding of FERPA and privacy in student records.
• Proven ability to develop, implement and evaluate programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, development, and evaluation of prevention and wellbeing programs.
• Coordinate naloxone access and harm-reduction initiatives campus-wide.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support a continuum of care for students.
• Oversee student staff and advise student organizations as needed.
