Job summary

DePaul University seeks a Wellness Coordinator, AOD to lead prevention programming and health education across the campus, focusing on substance misuse, harm reduction, consent, and safe relationships. You will collaborate with campus partners and supervise interns while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

You will work with student leaders, staff, and the University Board on trainings, workshops, and advocacy to support survivors and promote holistic wellness on and off campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Public Health or related field is required.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in counseling, education, or public health is required.
• Illinois license in Counseling or Social Work and/or 40 hour survivor support advocate training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead substance misuse prevention programming and communication campaigns.
• Develop educational programming and learning opportunities promoting student health and well-being.
• Coordinate assessment efforts related to substance use and sexual violence on campus.
• Develop and maintain collaborations with community resources for prevention education.
• Provide supervision to graduate interns and student employees.
