Job summary

Pioneer Human Services in Washington state seeks a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee to deliver evidence-based services to clients under supervision, with a focus on documentation and outcomes.

You will work toward the SUDPT credential, participate in required trainings, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery, reintegration, and client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Working toward an Associate’s Degree in mental health, behavioral health, or related field.
• Credentialed with WA Department of Health as a SUDPT in accordance with WAC 246-811.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based substance use disorder services through counseling, psycho-educational classes, process groups, and case management.
• Diagnose substance use disorders per DSM-5 and ASAM requirements.
• Collaborate with Pioneer providers and community partners per the Individual Service Plan.
• Maintain complete, accurate documentation of all activities.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of community resources.
• Assist first responders as needed.
