Position

Per Diem Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Remote)

Primary Job Functions

1. Assist in admitting patients for Methadone Treatment.
2. Obtain a history and physical exam.
3. Document into the EMR, enter orders for methadone dosing, or write buprenorphine prescriptions.
4. Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications in the absence of the Medical Director.
5. Monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses.
6. Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications

• Must have licensure in the State of Vermont.
• Must have at least 6 months of addiction medicine and MAT experience.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.
