Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) team at Jessup Correctional Institution in Jessup, Maryland. The role supports direct patient care for individuals with substance use disorders and detox protocols, primarily during the night shift (10:30 PM–7:00 AM).

Must hold an active Maryland LPN license, with a nursing degree from an accredited program.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland LPN license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN or LPN licensure.
• Minimum one year of LPN experience preferred in outpatient, hospital, or long-term care.
• Corrections experience preferred and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with substance use disorders
• Perform nursing procedures as part of SUD treatment services
• Maintain documentation and comply with CPR/BLS procedures

We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) team at Jessup Correctional Institution located in Jessup, Maryland.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Substance Use Disorder) is responsible for conducting nursing practices and procedures relative to substance use addiction services/medicine. This person provides direct patient care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. He/she must be familiar with substance use, treatment modalities and detoxification protocols.

Night Shift- 1030p-7a

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Two years of experience working as a LPN
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
