Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must have ADT status approval and a high school diploma with 15 college credits in alcohol and drug counseling.
  • MD license by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists or the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.

Responsibilities

  • Perform individual substance use assessments and screenings.
  • Establish, coordinate and conduct educational and individual counseling sessions.
  • Develop, implement and maintain SMART treatment plans.
  • Provide referrals and ongoing support for community services.
  • Submit timely, clinically documented notes for caseload.
  • Attend in-services, meetings, and trainings as required.
