Job summary

White Deer Run Allenwood is seeking a Substance Use Counselor I to provide compassionate care and support for lasting recovery. The role involves conducting counseling, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team at a Pennsylvania facility operated by Acadia Healthcare.

We offer a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule with pay ranging from $20 to $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in social or health services field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and counseling to support recovery from substance use and related disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality care.
• Conduct group and/or family sessions, scheduled and documented.
• Coordinate with referrals and insurance for case management as needed.
• Ensure timely, clear documentation of patient care and incidents.
