Job summary

Alpharus Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a Certified Substance Use Counselor (CADC, LPC, or LSW) to deliver evidence-based outpatient services. You will assess clients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling within a supportive, mission-driven environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience and active licensure, with a Monday–Friday schedule at our facility in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 100 hours of clinical training in counseling theory and practice.
• Current CADC, LPC, or LSW licensure in state of hire required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling.

Responsibilities

• Completing comprehensive assessments of clients' substance abuse history and treatment requirements and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Providing individual and group counseling and educational programs per treatment plans.
• Documenting treatment and discharge plans and clients' progress; maintaining related records.
