Epiphany Family Services, LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling, education and support for recovery. The role includes assessments, treatment plan development, and leading group/individual sessions within a collaborative team.

Qualifications include CADC/LADC/LCAS or equivalent licensure and a minimum of two years in substance abuse counseling. The position offers both part-time and full-time schedules with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC, LADC, LCAS or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in substance abuse counseling or related behavioral health services.
• Strong communication, counseling and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, group and family counseling sessions.
• Educate clients and families on substance abuse, recovery and resources.
• Provide crisis intervention and referrals as needed.
• Maintain confidential case documentation in compliance with HIPAA and guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Support relapse prevention and aftercare planning.
