Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers in Maine is hiring a Substance Use Counselor to support patients in outpatient treatment for opioid use disorder. Start hourly pay rate is $27-28/hr, with full benefits and a team-based care model.

You’ll provide individual and group counseling, complete intakes and treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help patients through recovery.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following: High School Diploma + active CADC or Master’s degree + active LADC.
• Experience in substance use or behavioral health preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling
• Complete intakes, assessments, and treatment plans
• Document patient progress and maintain clinical records
• Support patients through recovery and relapse prevention
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
