NATIVE HEALTH is seeking a Substance Use Counselor to join a multidisciplinary care team in Mesa, AZ. The role provides direct counseling for substance use and mental health to individuals, families, and groups, under clinical supervision.

The Counselor will document and support program audits, participate in case staffing, and collaborate with internal/external providers to ensure coordinated patient care while upholding core values and HIPAA/42 CFR compliance.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted licensure in Arizona is required.
• Licenses in social work, counseling or addiction fields must be current.
• Experience with substance use treatment and diverse populations preferred.
• Spanish language ability preferred; fluency evaluation required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient and group counseling focused on substance use and mental health.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team for coordinated patient care.
• Document, bill, and support program audits accurately.
• Participate in case staffing and peer review sessions.
• Maintain HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance in all interactions.
