Job summary

A local healthcare provider in Jersey City seeks a CPSAI Assessment Counselor to carry out substance use assessments for caregivers. The role involves coordinating referrals and monitoring service compliance while ensuring timely reporting and communication with relevant agencies. Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside knowledge of substance use disorders. An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or CADC is required, in addition to a valid New Jersey driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Driver's License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned tasks within prescribed time frames.
• Comply with work schedule as negotiated with supervisor.
• Keep DCP&P informed of client status according to CPSAI guidelines.
• Submit monthly tracking form to Administrative Assistant.
• Enter referrals into NJSAMS upon receipt.
