Job summary

Preferred Behavioral Health Group in New Jersey is seeking a Counselor Aide for the CPSAI program located in Randolph. This full-time position handles referrals, urine drug screens, and administrative duties under the supervision of the Assessment Counselor.

The Counselor Aide supports the team, maintains logs, and may conduct home visits as needed. A High School Diploma and a valid NJ driver’s license are required, with benefits including health coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma
• License - Valid NJ Driver's License in good standing
• Knowledge of Addictions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the referral process, receive and schedule incoming referrals
• Collect urine drug screens in accordance with Chain of Custody procedure
• Conduct home visits as needed and complete chain of custody drug screens.
• Transport clients as instructed and responsible for maintaining the vehicle.
• Proficiently communicates - written and verbal
• Highly organized
• Knowledge of Addictions Preferred.
