Job summary

Goldbelt Glacier is accelerating healthcare delivery and providing superior force health readiness across military, federal, and civilian landscapes. The Prevention Coordinator will support the National Guard Bureau (NG), J1 Warrior Resiliency & Fitness (WRF) Substance Abuse Program (SAP), Suicide Prevention Program (SPP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field plus 4+ years in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, or Resilience and program/case management, or 10 years of practical experience.
• Experience in instructing and briefing skills with diverse audiences.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends during training periods.
• Pass background check and CAC eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Shall provide information briefing (Quarterly) on State and National level SAP and Suicide Prevention.
• Shall input SAP and SP training and applicable information into the DAMIS and ALURRT within 48 hours of receipt.
• Shall electronically report all scheduled SAP and SP training within 48 hours of training completion.
• Shall input all assessment/referral and treatment data of Service Members into DAMIS within 24 hours of appointment.
• Shall coordinate and conduct SAP Training and SP Training for Service members, families and ARNG units that meet requirements in AR 600-85 and AR 350-53; States may add tasks to meet state prevention standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
